Early Neutral Evaluation/ Private hearings

Early Neutral Evaluation is available for finance and property disputes (often termed a private FDR) and for children issues.

When the requisite evidence is completed and collated, it is sent to an experienced family barrister to conduct an early neutral evaluation of the case and provide clear guidance and recommendations for how it should be resolved.

Hearings held privately, such as private financial dispute resolution hearings (pFDRs) provide you with greater control and flexibility. These hearings are not subject to the court’s availability and take place in a neutral setting (often a barrister’s chambers). A pFDR takes place for a full day (or occasionally over 2 full days in the issues are particularly complex), with regular access to the pFDR Judge who can be requested to steer the parties and provide an detailed indication to assist the parties in resolving matters.
